My old navy account was closed this month. I've had the card for at least 4 months and have had a zero balance that I have maintained to date.

I saw that it was closed after reviewing credit karma. I called the card company and was told that the explanation was due to creditworthiness. Completely bogus. My credit score has improved drastically since getting excepted for this card.

Additionally , last week- I just got approved for another card for more than 10 x the credit limit of this old navy card!!!!!!! WHATTT!!!!!!

I was told to wait for the letter in the mail as it should provide more clarity; which I doubt. I also got another card two days ago. They are not earning interest/ money from me and figure why should we help her credit if she's not paying us!!!

HANDS DOWN.

If this has happened to more people please respond so we can start a lawsuit against this company and synchrony bank on the whole. When companies do this , they hurt the customers creditworthiness- yet they are accusing me of issues of creditworthiness; Hypocrits!!!!!

Reason of review: Closed account in good standing.

Monetary Loss: $500000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Old Navy Cons: Account was closed for an illegitimate reason.

Same thing here...customer in excellent standing, all bills paid, zero balance and they cancelled my card with no explanation. Called the number on card and they said a letter was sent (nope) and they are resending the letter. Why????
