Old Navy - Customer Care Review from Los Angeles, California
I am very disappointed with the new return policy. Actually i was just trying to do an even exchange, so if you plan on shopping old navy for Christmas, hear me out and dont do it.
I bought 2 pairs of leggings for my daughter and since they have a wrap around them she was not able to try them on. They told me i could exchange them if they did not fit her. I went back since they did not fit and got a different size. They would not even do an even exchange because i didn't bring my receipt.
I had to pay for the new leggings and they will mail me a check, ONLY valid at old navy so they basically made me spend my money there. This is ridiculous to me since it is an even exchange and they carry leggings all year round and they told me to do an exchange if the size didn't fit. They wanted to use my card that i payed with but i payed cash so they have no record of me purchasing them. Im so irritated with them.
I will not shop there as long as they have that policy and beware, do not Christmas shop there either unless you want friends and family members having annoying issues as well.
I can not complain about the employees because they were both really nice and very patient with me as i was very disappointed. I am going to post this all over my social media and all of you all should as well!
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Hahaha are you serious? You think it's unreasonable to require a receipt to return?!
I don't know where you're used to shopping but I'm pretty sure EVERY store does this...otherwise you could have stolen it.. DUH
This is not a new policy, that has always been their policy. If you didn't have a receipt how could they possibly know you had actually bought the leggings in the first place and weren't just trying to rip them off? Most places require a receipt for a full return so next time hold on to yours.
That's why they make receipts, babushka. Welcome to the 21st century, good lord.
