Old Navy - Poor Christmas Return policy

New ReviewerI Placed multiple orders for Christmas shopping. All my orders were placed online before I made these Christmas purchases.
I asked for assurance that being gifts that they could be returned or exchanged and credited to my method of payment. I was told that as long as they were in the original clear plastic, wrapping of each item, but there would be no problem, returning or exchanging them. As I was going to wrap these gifts, I found that some were the wrong size a couple of sweaters had a seam down the center front that is unsightly and would never be worn. One sweater is a duplicate purchase.
We are talking approximately 10 items from various orders. You do not include a packing slip with your orders, which means I have nothing but the merchandise completely enclosed in its original clear plastic bags and your customer service tells me I cannot return these items because I dont know which order number they were from. This is very poor customer service, and very poor management to not include packing slips, which I could easily have gone through to return these items. I am going to try one more time to resolve this with Old Navy.
Then I am going to dispute these items with my bank card or credit card company. This is not the way to have a good customer relations, especially when a customer has spent a considerable sum of money shopping with you.
